There are many reasons why you should start your own small business

Time Magazine published an article about Generation X and entrepreneurship years ago , when entrepreneurship was growing in momentum across the nation. One young man stated to the magazine that he wished to become an entrepreneur so it would allow him to play more golf. I still laugh about that. It's not a good idea to start a business just to have more time. One of the most challenging tasks you could undertake is to begin an enterprise that is small. You must expect to spend more time than you've got. Here are some common motives for starting your own small-scale business.
conversational tone for starting the journey to become an entrepreneur
You are actually a " birthed" entrepreneur
While there aren't many business owners with the entrepreneurial gene, a few do. I once had a conversation with a man who told me he became an entrepreneur because it was because he "couldn't find a job." If you balk when you are told what to do or think of the "better method" to do something, you might have entrepreneurial impulses running through your bloodline. Although you may not be successful, it does mean that you are more likely to attempt rather than working for somebody else.
The sky is the limit for you.
While there's no guarantee your venture will make you wealthy, for some people particularly, women, minorities and minorities especially, having a business can give them the chance to break that proverbial glass ceiling. Entrepreneurship is an excellent equalizer. If you can provide a product or service consumers want at a price they're willing and able to pay, they won't pay attention to your gender or ethnicity.
Your destiny is yours
If your sales team has had a difficult year, it could result in the loss of your job. As a
business owner, you will make mistakes, but they're not your errors and you'll get the opportunity to correct them.
Your time is yours to choose.
Being a business owner doesn't give you more free time, but it does allow you to choose your own timetable. You can have a day off, and then return to your work by 3:00 a.m. without having to ask permission.
Big dreams can become reality
Many "doers" But, most "doers" start as dreamers. George Bernard Shaw wrote: "Some...see things as they are, and then ask what the reason. Entrepreneurs dream things that never came to pass and then ask why they aren't." The act of dreaming however, isn't enough. You must convert that dream into a plan and turn it into a realistic goal complete with deadlines as well as responsibilities, tasks and accountability.
Follow your passions
You must ensure that your passions are strong enough to be effective in business endeavors. It doesn't necessarily mean that everyone else is interested in the same things you do. Do your research to determine whether there are markets for the products and services you're enthusiastic about.
You're unemployed
The rise of entrepreneurs in the 1990s was driven by professionals who were laid off during the country's first recession of white collar workers. To wait for the economy to improve, workers who could not find jobs started their own companies. However, the technological advancement that followed, including affordable technology and the advent of the internet, helped turn several temporary businesses into full-time enterprises.
